Saskia Wendland
Fashion Award of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, the Arts and Culture (BMUKK)
*1978
Anna-Kirsten Krambeck will, this year, presumably be finishing her fashion studies at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna.
Before, she had already been studying fashion in Antwerp and had successfully been working at Gesine Moritz in Cologne. Her
collections range from modern interpretations of fashion favourites and elegant transparency to daring animal prints and patterns.
Not least due to her colourful past, Krambecks work already covers an extraordinarily wide spectrum.
*1980
Saskia Wendland has, until 2008, successfully studied fashion at Viennas University of Applied Arts and, what is more,
is a downright fashion globetrotter. Milan, Antwerp, London, Barcelona and Berlin are amongst her past destinations, where
she has been participating at renowned fashion events like Bread & Butter or London Graduate Fashion Week. Her works are moving
back and forth between elaborate graphic playfulness, skilfully constructed designs and stark colour contrasting.
