rosa mosa is the label of Salzburg-born Simone Springer and Yuji Mizobuchi from Kyoto. They met while studying footwear and accessory design at Cordwainers College in London and have been collaborating for more than a decade by now. Their latest collection which combines high-quality leather with extra-ordinary materials, was shown in New York, Milan and Paris.
brandmair is the label of Upper Austrian Claudia Brandmair. Unlike many of her colleagues she did not acquire her skills at University but, from her early childhood on, at her mothers tailoring studio. A characteristic of her collections is the highly individual mix of materials, patterns and forms. That also applies to her latest womenswear collection - leather skirt, pants and turtleneck sweater predominantly in black and grey shades with subtly detailed cuts.
The Bulgarian-born Petar Petrov graduated from the Fashion Department at the University of Applied Arts Vienna under Raf Simons. For years, he has been presenting his womens and menswear collections at Paris Fashion Week and in this way established an international customer base that reaches up to Asia and the US. His latest menswear collection FW 11/12 is typically darkly coloured, mustard yellow and wine-red jackets and pullovers provide for colour contrasts. Special eyecatcher: fabric mixtures of leather and knitwear.
superated won the Award for International PR in 2010. Since then the two brains behind the Viennese label, designer Peter Holzinger and his partner Christian Moser, were busy expanding their former "menswear only" label with their first women´s wear collection Two Spirit. This collection full of highlights - fancy vests and capes made out of sheepskin and goatskin - was presented in Paris this spring
Mühlbauer is one of the most renowned family-run businesses and is being managed by Klaus Mühlbauer in fourth generation. His work concentrates on headdress, the traditional core business of the company. With his sister Marlies Mühlbauer he designs the hat collections in his own Viennese manufacture. With the help of a moulded team of hatters and modistes he achieved the repositioning in the field of contemporary fashion.
