superated

superated (founded in 2005) is the Viennese label of fashion designer Peter Holzinger and his partner Christian Moser. Last year, the solely men’s wear label has presented its very first women’s collection in Paris and during the 11 festival for fashion & photography in Vienna. superated was awarded the Unit F Prize for International PR in 2010; in 2011 and 2012 they were nominated for the Vienna Fashion Award. Since 2008 superated’s men’s wear collections are continuously shown on an international level in Paris, Berlin and Amsterdam. Furthermore, the Samstag Shop is run by Holzinger and Moser where they sell their own collections as well as other selected labels.

Ute Ploier

Ute Ploier’s (founded in 2003) collections are presented twice a year at the Fashion Week in Paris and can be found in selected shops in Europe, the United States and Japan. Next to her own label, Ploier also worked for companies like La Redoute or Topman and designed the men’s line for the established Austrian fashion house Gössl from 2009 to 2011. Her collections have received numerous prizes, amongst others the Prix Hommes for best men’s wear collection at the Festival International de Mode et de Photographie in Hyères in 2004 and the Unit F Prize for International PR in 2005. Last year Ploier has taken over the professorship at the University for Art and Industrial Design Linz in co-operation with the Fashion School of the City of Vienna.

mija t. rosa

mija t. rosa (founded in 2009) is the label of Julia Cepp who studied at the University of Applied Arts Vienna under Raf Simons. In 2004, her graduate collection was awarded with the Rondo Nokia Fashion Award; in 2009 and 2011 she received the Unit F project funding. Her latest two collections were presented during the Austria Fashion Showcase at the Première Classe in Paris.

codex baut (founded in 2011) is the Viennese fashion label of Julia Fidesser and Viktoria Hauser. Both designers studied at the University for Art and Industrial Design Linz in co-operation with the Fashion School of the City of Vienna and create fashion that is wearable at the office as well as at home. In 2007, under their own names, Fidesser and Hauser won the first price at the competition Young? Creative ¿ Chevrolet! on the national level and in 2008 the second price on the European level.
