To conclude the festival for fashion & photography the students will demonstrate their skills

This will be the last time that the Show Angewandte takes place under the artistic direction of the renowned Antwerp designer, Veronique Branquinho. This autumn the Paris-based German designer, Bernhard Willhelm, will take over.
34 students will participate in the show with their designs, six of which will show their diploma collections. This years grand awards ceremony will take place during the break, where the following awards will be presented: the 5,000.00 EUR Fred Adlmüller scholarship, the 3,000.00 EUR Swarovski CRYSTALLIZED Award, the 3,000.00 EUR RONDO VÖSLAUER Fashion Award, which also includes the publication of an editorial in RONDO, the 1,000.00 EUR Swiss Textiles Award as well as the PENG!-EDITORIAL-AWARD as part of which an editorial of the winner will be published in PENG! Magazine.
The winner of the 1,000.00 EUR (+ 1 shop window at Song Shop) Song Award will only be announced the day after the show after the in-house graduates presentations have taken place.
This years international jury was made up of Bernhard Willhelm (Fashion Designer, Paris), Dirk Schönberger (Creative Director JOOP!, Hamburg), Alex Wiederin (Creative Director Another Magazine, New York), Mirko Borsche (Designer Bureau Mirko Borsche, Munich), Myung-Il Song (Song Shop & Galerie, Vienna).
The jury of the University of Applied Arts Vienna included Veronique Branquinho (Fashion Department), Barbara Putz-Plecko (Vice Rector), Oliver Kartak (Graphic Design Department), Priska Morger (Fashion Department) and Hermann Fankhauser (Fashion Department).
