EUNIQUE

As is well known, fairs for applied arts often are not really different from what you see on Christmas markets.

This is supposed to be different at EUNIQUE in Karlsruhe, as trade fair and design experts concur with survey responses and conclude that the event taking place for the fifth time offers a very high quality standard, guaranteed by a jury of experts and a highly developed sense of pioneering design trends. This at least is what the press text says.

After Belgium and Finland, this year´s guest country are the Netherlands that present positions of 14 designers. A selection of design products that were awarded in 2012 with the Dutch Design Awards will offer a focused look at current developments in Dutch design in fields such as interior design, graphic design, architecture and fashion.
Austria is present with three exhibitors - textiles restaurator Beate von Harten,  fashion designer Lothar Daniel Bechtold and the label Minirox.
