Born in Linz in 1971, the designer attended the College for Fashion and Garment Engineering in Vienna where he started his career as assistant to Edwina Hörl. Together with textile artist Lies Bielowski, he developed a felt collection, which was exhibited in Zurich and London. After completing a history degree at the University of Vienna (with a thesis entitled: Coronation Gowns of Roman Kings and Queens from the 9th to 13th century) he has continuously shown his own collections. As design consultant he worked for the companies Leutner/Austria and Loesungsmittel/Vienna - www.urbantool.info. In 2002/2003 he was a visiting professor of fashion at Kunstuniversität Linz. In 2004 he made his Paris debut at 2H - showroom Hortensia de Hutten with the collection VII - India 2. As member of the fashion collective We Showroom Paris Now he participated in the Austrian pavilion at the Expo in Aichi /Nagoya in 2005.
