Pitour crafts unique pieces of clothing by hand - combining different fabrics, patterns and styles. The label stands
for a bold handling of the handcraft tradition as well for an unbiased approach to themes of contemporary culture. pitour
is run by designer Maria Oberfrank, who was born in 1969. She graduated from the Fashion Department at the University
of Applied Arts Vienna under Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Marc Bohan, Vivienne Westwood and Helmut Lang.
From 1989 to 1997 she had a shop in Vienna, afterwards she continued with her label, pitour, at combinat in Vienna
next to international excursions into the world of liveries.
Since 1999 she has regularly worked together with Guilherme
Mata on the winter collections for his brand m vs. in Sao Paolo, Brazil.
