What cause for joy!

So far the distribution of Clemens en August designs had been restricted to “invite-only” sales events. Twice a year, the label went on a tour of the world, transforming galleries and museums in New York, Tokyo, Zurich, London and Vienna in temporary shops.

Now this is set to change slightly from 14 December, because the online designer fashion outlet, theOutnet.com will be the first retailer to exclusively sell collection pieces by Clemens en August.

Alexander Brenninkmajer, head of the Clemens en August label, and Stephanie Phair, director of theOutnet.com, were both guests at the talks held as part of the 9 festival for fashion & photography in June 2009. However, we certainly wouldn’t want to claim here that we had a hand in bringing about this delightful collaboration.
