Fashion photography has always been a medium for image and trends. It creates imaginary ideals of elegance, glamour and gender while continuously dissolving them. It documents social changes and pictures the zeitgeist. From early studio photography to dynamic settings in urban locations or the studio, from surreal concepts to ironizing fashion industry, from staging collections to picturing super models, mannered or naturally: nothing is left to coincidence in fashion photography.

That diversity of ways of working and concepts in fashion photography is displayed by Fashion!!! - what a coincidence with works of two generations of Austrian fashion photographers who provide insight into very personal works apart from commercial fashion photography.

Part of the exhibition are works of Georg Eckmayr, Ditz Fejer, Peter Garmusch, Mark Glassner, Yasmina Haddad, Elsa Okazaki, Maximilian Pramatarov, Bernd Preiml, Daliah Spiegel, Martin Stöbich, Udo Titz und Helga Traxler.

This exciting exhibition under the artistic direction of Ulrike Tschabitzer-Handler / Unit F and Albert Handler / brand unit is a contribution to Wir sind Wien festival and takes place at the gallery of fotoK in Vienna´s 15th district.
