Michaela Buerger © Bettina Kommenda
Michaela Buerger studied stage design at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and then fashion at the University
of Applied Arts Vienna under Raf Simons and Veronique Branquinho. In 2006 she moved to Paris where she worked
as assistant to Veronique Branquinho. In 2007 she showed her first own-brand collection during Paris Fashion Week.
Her
work is based on a strong personal identity, not referring to current trends but intuitively resorting to materials and forms.
Her aim is to produce timeless, long-lasting creations that rise above the fast moving nature of fashion fads and still meet
the demands of fashionable autonomy years later.
