For the second issue of The All Season Fashion Paper,
the editors asked photographers, illustrators and journalists to produce works on the theme of “irritation”. The
creative talents selected mostly came from the circle surrounding Unit F. The cover was designed by British illustrator Julie
Verhoeven. Swiss journalist Tom Kummer, known for his borderline journalism with invented interviews, wrote five short stories
exclusively for the magazine, which were visually interpreted by photographer Bettina Komenda.
The still life photos by Bela Borsodi, realised in cooperation with creative director Paul Graves, are unique in the way they depict and stage high-fashion objects. In arrangements reminiscent of classic still life paintings, the fleeting objects of desire become an ironic mirror reflecting a new way of seeing things and resonating with symbolic meaning. The photographer does not make use of any digital editing in his photographs.
