Vienna-based Austro-Hungarian designer Edith Agay studied at the University of Applied Arts Vienna under Helmut Lang, Marc Bohan (Dior) and Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. Since 1998 she has regularly presented her collections and projects internationally. Her concepts and shapes reflect the contradictions of the rational and emotional life world in a very personal manner, often drawing their charm and inspiration from the variety of the multicultural. Edith Agay regards fashion as architecture for the body. Her turning towards geometrical principles results in strict silhouettes mixed with playful-feminine elements. Her individually adjustable creations should above all serve to celebrate the moment.
