It isn't difficult to 'get' New York based Austrian designer Devi Kroell. She produces pretty pieces for pretty people. Her luxe classics are defined by an artistic boldness allowing her to become a darling of the Upper West Side socialite soirees. (Think 80's excess novel Bonfire of the Vanities).
Not that her designs are common, but her rendition of a robe de style, is hardly groundbreaking. And yet there is a certain clientele who will always desire such dependability. Especially in Manhattan where her business has rapidly expanded past its humble accessories roots; catering to grown up girls with conservative tastes and liberal credit limits.
