Design NOW

The ideas competition is geared towards designers who represent a wide understanding of design, interact with other disciplines or collaborate with artists, architects or other creative minds. The emphasis is on the meaning of “design” as a concrete possibility and relevant practice to interfere with and define social structures. After the loss of modernity’s design utopias and the avant-garde’s attempts to comprehensively reconceptualise our sphere of life, current, independent models for 21st century Vienna are now needed.
