Julia Cranz Hats, Hat pieces & more

After a four-year degree in agricultural economy, Julia Kranz completed the class for “Modell-Modisterei (custom-made tailoring)” at the Fashion Institute Vienna / Schloss Hetzendorf. Afterwards she attended the Arts & Fashion School San Francisco for several months and did an internship as a shoemaker at Venice’s renowned Maestro Rolando Segalin. From 2002 to 2005 she designed under the label name of “HatOffice”. In 2005 she started her own label Julia Cranz Hats, Hat pieces and more in Eichgraben/Lower Austria and opened her second studio in Venice. That same year she showed her Valentines-Collection as part of New York Fashion Week and was voted “Milliner of the Month” on renowned website www.millinery.info. In 2008 she launched her second line, “Jucy Green” - Golf Caps and Accessories. Julia Cranz has worked as a costume designer, set designer and even as an actress for numerous film and theatre productions at home and abroad. She prefers working with leather, various feathers and Swarovski crystals.
