Let’s start off in Paris where already three exciting fashion exhibitions are happening.

The Musée des Arts Decoratifs hosts the Louis Vuitton Marc Jacobs exhibition till September 16th. The story of two creative pioneers is presented who are separated by more than a century however both distinctively shaped the brand Vuitton and still do.

Starting in April the Musée Galleria will be the home of two small but nice exhibitions. The first is paying homage to couturier and collector Cristóbal Balenciaga whose own collections are shown next to more than 70 historic costumes. Comme des Garcons White Drama is the second presentation which showcases the newest all white spring collection by Rei Kawakubo who has also designed the setting for the exhibition.

The Fondation Pierre Bergé is dedicating their 17th exhibiton to Kabuki. Centuries-old Japanese theater costumes are shown next to accessories, photographs and engravings.

And moving over to London!
Here from May onwards, the London Design Museum will be celebrating Christian Louboutin’s 20th anniversary. The large-scale retrospective will be starting with the beginnings of the iconic red sole and continuously move all the way up to the newest collections.
