More than 12 years ago, fashion icon Diane Pernet left New York City to start a career as a fashion journalist in Paris. Now she’s giving the fashion film its own life.

From 30 September to 8 October, the capital of fashion will once more do the fashionable honours.        

In collaboration with photographers, designers, stylists and other creative people, Nick Knight has ushered in a new era regarding the preoccupation with fashion with the launch of his website, SHOWstudio.com. On 18 September, an exhibition dedicated to the 20 most important SHOWstudio projects will launch coinciding with the start of London Fashion Week.

The first Barcelona Fashion Week took place in 2007, having since gained more and more international attention. Its aim is to give independent fashion designers a public platform and to make Barcelona a shining beacon regarding successful synergies between creativity, innovation and commerciality.

From 9 to 17 September, the Big Apple will be the centre of the fashion world.
