10 festival for fashion & photography

The 10 festival for fashion & photography acts as a platform for national and international contemporary fashion design and (fashion) photography. Within only 4 years, the festival has become a fixture of Vienna’s fashion and cultural world.

 

Over a period of around 10 days, it presents the work of fashion designers and photographers, moreover experts from the fields of fashion, economy and Web 2.0 are introduced in symposia, talks, etc. In 2009 around 9,500 people visited the fashion festival; the national and international media response was enormous. Consequently, the festival has evolved into a large-scale presentation and PR platform that, in addition to the events conceived and organised by Unit F, is also open to projects of content partners.

 

2 anniversaries are coming up in 2010 - 10 years of Unit F büro für mode and 5 years of festival for fashion & photography.

 

 

 

From 15 September to 30 October fashion designers, photogaphers and cultural institutions (musuems, galleries, off-spaces, exhibition spaces etc.) are invited to submit projects they would like to present in Vienna as part of the 10 festival for fashion & photography (core period 25/5-2/6/2010). We are looking for independently conceived and organised projects in the following categories:

Fashion designers
- Show
- Performance/presentation
- Exhibition
- Installation

 

Photographers
- Exhibition
- Installation

 

Cultural institutions
(Museums, galleries, exhibition spaces, off-spaces etc.)
- Fashion and/or
- Photography exhibition
