In the exhibition Ronald Stoops Inge Grognard, the two Belgium-based artists presented a selection of works created over the past few years in the course of a fruitful collaboration.

Ronald Stoops
The Dutch photographer Ronald Stoops studied photography at the Antwerp Academy of Arts. During the past 15 years he took photos for almost all Belgian designers, among them Martin Margiela, AF Vandevorst, Jurgi Persoons, Walter van Beirendonck, Dirk van Saene, Raf Simons and Veronique Branquinho. His works have been published in the world’s best lifestyle magazines, for instance in Visionnaire, i-D, View on Colour, Purple Fashion, etc. Stoops’ work has also been presented in group exhibitions as well as in solo exhibitions on an international level, e.g. at the Deep Gallery in Tokyo, the Galerie Triangle in Bordeaux and in various cultural facilities in Belgium.

Inge Grognard
For almost 15 years the make-up artist Inge Grognard has been working for the Belgian fashion avant-garde. Her works are published in the world’s leading lifestyle magazines, such as i-D, Purple Fashion, the Japanese, French and German editions of Vogue, View on Colour, Visionnaire etc. In March 1998 a special issue of the French avant-garde magazine Purple Fashion featured the Belgian make-up artist and her work. In the same year a book was published of her most important works, which were also presented in an exhibition at the Boijmans van Beuningen Museum.
