Sometimes it is not so easy to keep track of what´s going on, as Vienna´s fashion scene has grown that multifaceted and colourful by now. In order to counteract this and to provide a compendium both for local fashion afficonados and visitors, for the first time VIENNA FASHION CODEX will be published mid February.

After the Seine and the Spree, soon the Thames will welcome the international fashion society. From February 17 - 22, London´s Somerset House will be home of numerous shows and presentations. The provisional show calendar is online now and with great joy we once more see Marios Schwab and Peter Pilotto on the agenda!

In the 60ies, Katarina Noever was a sought after, globetrotting mannequin that blew a whirl of fresh  air through - at the time - stuffy Vienna sporting designs of boutique “Etoile”. Beginning of the Seventies, together with her former husband, she founded Section N, that made international design accessible to a Viennese audience. With the Katarina Noever Collection, Wien Museum has purchased a compliation that not only displays the textile biography of an outstanding personality, but also records Vienna´s lifestyle vanguard since the 1960ies.
