For the international Streetwear Trade Fair organisers BREAD & butter Berlin, Unit F conceived the travelling exhibition, Logos Mutant, for the two Bread & butter locations Barcelona and Berlin.
The video installation was
composed of circularly set-up monitors showing interviews with designers and people from the international fashion network.
The basic idea of Logos Mutant was to display a network of contemporary fashion designers in an exhibition. The interviews
were conducted by the American journalist, Diane Pernet - www.ashadedviewonfashion.com
- featuring dialogues, monologues and statements on the topic of fashion and the world around it, as well as archive material
of catwalk shows and art projects, showing the working processes of each interviewee.
The installations
aim was to illustrate the international network of contemporary fashion designers, journalists and theorists.
The
exhibition was accompanied by a catalogue co-conceived by Unit.
The aim was to further establish the position of BBB.Studio as an island for contemporary design within the trade fair, thus strengthening the image of BREAD & butter as more than just a Streetwear Trade Fair.
