LP Cover by Ute Ploier
It took the collective M185, consisting of Heinz Wolf, Wolfram Leitner, Joerg Skischally, Roland Reiter und Alexander
Diesenreiter, three quarters of a year to finish their 2nd album. The result is rather an art object than just a piece of
music. The Vienna-based designer, Ute Ploier, was especially hired to design the cover artwork accompanying this strictly
limited vinyl release. Looks like M185 are true aesthetes, and best of all: Transformers also sounds just like
it. Clocking in at just under 40 minutes, the album is bound to leave listeners in a state of wonder, but one things is for
sure: Transformers stands for collectivity, change and the knowledge that something can still happen.
Transformers
is the first album to be released on the recently established label, Speed of Light, a loose collective specialising in the
distribution of Austrian independent artists.
