For seven years, Unit F büro für mode has been following an ambitious strategy for promoting fashion design. In addition to direct financial support, the necessary infrastructure for designers is being developed and extended.

One of the activities of Unit F has been the launch of the Austrian Fashion Awards Night in 2002 as a presentation platform for the winners of the annual Austrian fashion awards. This gala has been extended over the years and was presented as the Austrian Fashion Week from 2003 on.

Since associated areas which are closely related to fashion and their presentation have always been addressed by Unit F’s activities, photography has been presented as a special topic within the festival since 2006.
