Fashion film and blog pioneer as well as style icon Diane Pernet opens frame[out] film festival with a public discussion on July, 6 and subsequently presents a Best Of A Shaded View on Fashion Film.

In 2009, Pernet came to Vienna to celebrate the Austria premiere of A Shaded View on Fashion Film in the course of 9 festival for fashion & photography.

Two more film programs that are curated by her will be screened in July and August.

Each Friday the festival stands under the motto frame[o]ut | fashion.

"On the eight evenings the two very different genres "fashion" and "film" with their countless forms of orchestration will show their potentials on movie screen. The young genre "fashion film" is as present as a documentary about a street fashion photographer or movies that put a focus on "the costume", says Martina Leitinger of the frame[o]ut board.
