Subsidies
Following projects and communication tools can be granted by Unit F büro für mode:
• fashion shows / participation at shows in and outside of Austria
• showroom and similar presentations
• solo exhibitions and participation at exhibitions
• publications
• printed matters, e.g. catalogues, invitations, leaflets, flyer, posters, etc.
• lookbooks
• websites

Criteria for application:
The applicant has to be a fashion designer working in Austria or able to prove a special reference to the Austrian fashion design scene. The products should be obtainable on the market. The applicant should be able to show publications in professional media.

Unit F cannot grant funding for jewellery collections.

Unit F cannot grant funding for projects that have started before the application deadline.

Application deadline is Monday, 22nd October 2007.
IMPORTANT: All completed application forms and portfolios MUST ARRIVE at Unit F, Gumpendorfer Strasse 56, 1060 Vienna by this date.

The application must include:
• completed and signed application form (download form here)

• Detailed description of the project and/or concept (2000-4000 letters), as well as a time schedule

• Detailed calculation of costs (download form here) and financing with a list of all funding (by public institutions, sponsors or financing of one's own) asked for and granted (in accordance with the application form)

• CV and documentation of previous artistic activities (catalogues, photos, videos of shows, press clippings, documentation of exhibitions, etc.) - no originals please, as Unit F büro für mode can't accept liability for the loss of material.

• In case of the applicant being an association, the application must include statutes and current extract of proof as well as the names of the officials, in case of the applicant being a company a current extract of proof.

• If necessary, proof of an invitation (or confirmation) from the organiser of the show/exhibition/etc., address, phone number/fax/email

• Information about all public funding obtained within the last three years (funding organisation, purpose, amount)

IMPORTANT:
Only complete applications can be submitted to and decided by the independent experts jury.

It is pinted out, that the quality, aesthetics, form and style of the submitted portfolios are important for the evaluation by the independent experts jury. Please take care not to submit any loose sheets or incomplete portfolios.

Submitted portfolios can be picked up at the Unit F office until 6 months after the jury meeting, documents will not be sent back. Unit F is not liable for any submitted original collection pieces.

In case of receiving fundings, a Unit F logo has to be placed on all relevant documents and printed matters (download logo here).
