AUGUST
AUGUST (Founded 2011) is the label of Austrian Magdalena Maria Kohler and Josephin Thomas from Berlin. Magdalena studied fashion design at the University of Arts Berlin under Valeska Schmidt-Thomsen and Stephan Schneider and presented her diploma collection during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin in 2009. A year later she was part of the finalists of Designer for Tomorrow Award and again presented at the Berlin Fashion Week.
Josephin graduated in fashion design from FHTW in Berlin in 2008. She has already worked as a costume assistant for various theater and opera productions, worked in the fields of costume and styling for music videos and stage setting of the two bands BODI BILL and hundreds. She also worked as a tutor of advanced training in fashion design, cutting and manufacturing.
