DIPTYCH

DIPTYCH was established by Valerie Lange and Ali Zedwitz in 2009. The two met during their time at the University of Applied Art Vienna under Raf Simons, who brought both to Milan in 2005 to work as junior designers for his team at Jil Sander. DIPTYCH’s very first women’s wear collection “I’m a victim of this song” made it to the finals at the Festival International de Mode et de Photographie in Hyères. The work and inspiration of the two designers are shaped by coincidence, feeling and atmosphere. They prefer to work in open structures and make spontaneous and incoherent decisions.
