Insider Milan: Andreas Bergbaur

Milan is the fashion city par excellence – where is its fashion center?

Milan’s golden triangle lies between the streets Via Montenapoleone, Via della Spiga, Via Manzoni and Corso Venezia. Here, all the Italian fashion houses and international brands have their flagship stores and boutiques.

Where does the fashion crowd meet to network?

Mostly at the clubs of Marcelo Burlon (Pink is Punk) and Natasha Slater (Punks Wear Prada), as well as the Bar Bianco (Viale Ibsen 4) and the Mono (Via Lecco 6). During the shows Principe’s hotel bar turns into a chick meeting point for journalists, stylists and models.

Where in Milan would you take friends from the fashion industry out for dinner?

To Giacomo’s bistro (Via Pasquale Scottocorno 6), to Al Pont de Ferr (Ripa di Porta Ticinese 55) or to Torre di Pisa (Via Fiori Chiari 21/5)

If I go to multi brand store than to Antonia (Via Ponte Vetero 9, Ang. Via Sacchi), 10 Corso Como (Corso Como 10) or to the department store Excelsior (Galleria del Corso 4).
